Day 1

Morning transfer to the airport for a flight to Chiclayo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit to the Bruning Archeological Museum, which houses a great collection of gold artifacts and ceramics. Continue with a visit to the pyramids of Tucume, excavated by Thor Heyerdahl.

Day 2 Morning tour to Huaca Rajada where the tomb of the Lord of Sipan (the richest     tomb of the Americas) is preserved. Continue to Monsefu, a quaint village famous for its craft market. Afternoon visit to the local witch market.

Day 3 Morning visit to the El Brujo archeological complex, with a 30-meter adobe pyramid. Transfer to Trujillo and then to your hotel.

Day 4

Tour of Trujillo and Chan Chan, the largest clay city in the Americas—once the capital of the Chimu Empire. Lunch at Huanchaco beach. Here, fishermen still surf in totora reed boats as their ancestors did centuries ago. Afternoon transfer to the airport for the flight to Lima.
