After breakfast, get acquainted with  Peru's Capital City, its 2000 years of history and  Colonial  heritage. Enjoy lunch at Rosa Nautica restaurant (set menu lunch). Experience  the  artistic  traditions and contemporary lives of its residents. Tour Lima's Historical Center. Then visit the Larco Herrera Museum with its ceramic, gold and silver art collections, provides a revealing introduction to life in pre-columbian and Pre-Inca, Peru. After a very early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to  the airport,  fly to Cuzco. Upon arrival, we will be met by our guide and proceed to the Urubamba valley,  the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to visit the  Inca  fortress of Ollantaytambo. The site was built just as the Spaniards arrived, and evidence of  how it was constructed is still visible. After admiring the site's magnificent past, stroll through the quaint streets of today’s town. Continue to Pisac for an  opportunity to haggle with vendors at its handicraft market. Along the way, you will be able to observe a magnificent  view of the Urubamba valley. Enjoy lunch at Wayra Restaurant. Witness a spectacular equestrian exhibition where the horses will amaze you with their graceful gait and impress you with their elegant look. The presentation will be led by the rhythm of live marinera music players and a group of dancing artists. Dinner and overnight at Sol & Luna Hotel.   B,L,D

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel followed by a breathtaking train ride on the Vistadome Valley train through the Andes to Aquas Calientes at the foothill of Machu Picchu, known as the  "Lost City of the Incas" Check- in and lunch at the hotel.

Afternnon is at leisure; you may wish to explore the town of  Aguas Calientes, the Hot Springs or view the many waterfalls in the area.

Breakfast at the hotel. We strongly recommend that you wake up early to see the sunrise over Machu  Picchu. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  For hiking enthusiasts, we suggest a climb to the peak of Huayna Picchu. A fantastic buffet lunch will be served at the Sanctuary Lodge located at the entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu. In the afternoon, return to Cusco by rail. A light snack served onboard the train. Upon arrival, transfer and  overnight at the Picoaga Hotel, a deluxe hotel located just a few steps away from the Cusco Main Square and near all the main monuments of Cusco city. Within a short walk, you can admire the ancient splendour of Cusco, the archeological capital of America. The Picoaga Hotel, originally the old mansion of the Spanish noble, the Marquis of Picoaga, has now been converted into a comfortable hotel with private bath in each room. Intimate and public areas beautifully decorated in colonial style, framed by fine stone archways on two levels, beautiful columns, capitals and Spanish patio, complete an authentic sample of 17th Century architecture.

Enjoy lunch at Inka Grill restaurant. After lunch, visit one of the remarkable Inca ruins of the Inca empire, the culture  centre of  Sacsayhuaman. Then we continue to San Blas to visit its beautiful colonial church which houses an impressive pulpit and a filigree woodcarving bearing the fruits of the region. Stroll through the many handicraft and native are

galleries in the  little square. Roam the older quarters  of the city which date back to the 16th and 17th centuries.  Proceed to visit the Santo Domingo Convent Monastery,  which was once the Koricancha temple, the most important  Inca  temple  dedicated to the worship of the sun. According to the chronicles, it was  covered in gold leaf and filled with golden representations. Finish  this excursion visiting the cathedral that was built in 1539 in the "Suntur Wasi", and was known at the time as the church of victory. Tour the Pre Columbian Art Museum. This  Museum is  housed  in a beautiful  Colonial  manor. It's exhibits have been carefully selected for  their artistic value.  Ceramics,  gold, silver, shell and wood  artifacts  all form part  of this  collection.  After the visit  we'll  enjoy  a gourmet dinner at the Museum's  restaurant. Here  you will have an opportunity to sample the  famous novoandine cuisine.

After breakfast enjoy a morning boat ride to the Ballestas Islands, inhabited by boobies, pelicans, sea lions and Humboldt penguins. The still unexplained Candelabro marking lines can be seen on the way. Lunch at the hotel.

Later today enjoy a 1 hour-30 minute flight on a high-wing light aircraft over the desert and the mysterious Nasca  Lines  (also  known  as  Nasca markings), which can only be appreciated from  the air.  Even though they are centuries old, it's unknown as to howthey made and what was their purpose?  You will also fly over  Palpa Lines -identical to Nasca Lines- and the new discoveries in Pisco, Ocucaje and Cahuachi, ending with a well known drawing: "El Candelabro", scratched on the highest point of a cliffside overlooking the bay of Paracas.  YES! This is included in the price, other's charge extra for this!
